We understand that this can become time consuming and hectic for your busy lives; therefore, we have teamed up with Advisor Exchange in order to stream-line this process for you, our clients. Simply sign on to Advisor Exchange; input all your account log-in and password information and Advisor Exchange securely becomes “one-stop shopping” to view your account balances and allows Northern Financial Advisors to obtain the necessary information without having to involve you.

If you are interested in signing up to use Advisor Exchange please email nicholass@nfa1040.com to request an invitation. One of our team members will send you an email with instructions on how to get started. As always, we are ready to assist if need be.

There is NO fee to utilize this service and it offers the very best in protecting your information:

Privacy Protection:

Protecting clients’ privacy and safeguarding their personal information is of utmost importance to us. In order to fulfill this commitment, Advisor Exchange has developed a series of policies and practices that govern the protection and use of their information. They utilize state-of-the-art technologies and maintain current security standards and physical, electronic or procedural safeguards to ensure that clients’ personal and financial information is protected against unauthorized access or disclosure and inappropriate alteration or misuse. All data is stored and communicated using state of the art encryption (128-bit SSL). This standard is one of the strongest encryption methods available.

Advisor Exchange User IDs and Passwords:

Passwords and User IDs are kept private. User IDs can be searched by our Customer Service Representatives, but no one at Advisor Exchange can access clients’ passwords. Therefore, if a client forgets their Advisor Exchange password, a new one must be created. We have no way of deciphering what the forgotten password was.

Financial Institution Account Numbers and Account Passwords:

Financial institution account numbers and account passwords are kept private in a secure encrypted format and are not unscrambled during updating. This occurs in much the same way as when you use your bank’s client card in another financial institution’s bank machine. Your passwords are encrypted end-to-end and no one gets access to them. When account numbers and account passwords are input into Advisor Exchange, it is as if they were placed in a secured lock box. The key to this lock box is a piece of data that only you know. Therefore, if you forget that piece of data, the account numbers and account passwords must be reentered. There is no permanent or long terms physical archive of these credentials. No employee of Advisor Exchange can retrieve this account information.

In addition, you have the option to restrict our access to any or all of your accounts.

The options are:

Full Access – Allows us to see the account balance, positions, and transactions.
Summary Access – Allows us to see the account balance and positions only.
None – Only you have access to view the account.

You establish these settings from the client user interface, and we cannot override these settings.
